Orchard’s No Place For Hate Club Opens Letter Writing Station For The Tree of Life Congregation
Yesterday, Orchard's No Place for Hate student club met to discuss the hate crimes that have impacted communities in Kentucky and Pennsylvania, and to plan for some ways that Orchard could express our sympathy and solidarity for those impacted by violence. The first activity students have planned is a letter writing station in the Center where families and students from Orchard can write letters of support to the members of the Tree of Life Congregation in Pittsburgh.
The station will be open until Friday, November 9th; students will then collect and mail our notes form Orchard to the Tree of Life Congregation.
