The First Day of School, Orchard's Second Century is Underway

On Tuesday our Elementary and Middle School students kicked off the new school year, and today was the first day of school for our youngest students in Early Childhood! There's nothing better than having all of our Owls on campus together.
Students walked the red carpet; connected with teachers and classmates; settled into new classrooms (indoors and outdoors); met new people around the building; took on the ropes course; enjoyed scratch-made lunches in the cafeteria; explored the playgrounds and woods at Holliday Park and Orchard; and learned the routines of a brand-new grade.
With activities like morning meetings and conversations about building neural pathways, Orchard students are building community and starting off the school year reflecting on how they learn and grow. We can’t think of a better way to launch Orchard’s second century!
