This trimester, Pre-Kindergarten students explored art with Mrs. Amos during their small humanities block. They experimented with various mediums, including clay, sculpture, collage, watercolor, and even natural materials. Many pieces reflected their names—an important theme for young learners—and showcased connections to early literacy and self-expression. Some artwork was inspired by shared class books, while others incorporated student photos, adding a personal touch.
The unit concluded with an art show during Pre-K Parent Day, where families had the chance to see the artwork their children had created. It was a celebration of creativity that brought everyone together to appreciate the work and connect with each other. And this is just the start—more creative moments ahead!
