The One World Festival on Sunday, April 27th, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM is the highlight and finale of the week! Held on the Orchard campus, this special day brings our community together as one—celebrating traditions, exploring cultures from around the world, and discovering ways to care for our planet, starting right here in our own backyard!
 
This vibrant (and free!) event will showcase countries from around the world featuring engaging displays and interactive activities. Grab a “passport” and travel to six different continents in one afternoon. Enjoy food trucks, crafts, games, dances, performances and so much more! Plus, discover ways you can help the planet while learning about conservation efforts from our own EcoOwls.

The One World Auction is open and wraps up on Sunday, April 27, following the One World Festival. This is your chance to bid on some of the year’s most exciting and sought-after experiences and items!  
 

THE GOAL FOR THIS YEAR'S AUCTION IS $100,000!

All proceeds will support the Owl Fund, which is essential in helping to lower tuition costs, support teacher development, and maintain our beautiful campus. Plus, every bid also helps sustain beloved traditions like maple tree tapping, which sparks curiosity and hands-on learning in our students.

    • Travel Around the World: Grab a ”passport” and visit stations representing countries from six global continents showcasing stories, music, crafts and games. Get your passport stamped by each country you visit to collect a small token of celebration.
    • Food Trucks: Visit one of the food trucks to try a variety of ethnic foods and drinks. 
    • Performance Stage: Be immersed in a variety of performances and engaging presentations from around the world.
    • Conservation Station: Visit our EcoOwls table to learn ways we can be good stewards of the environment.

    HOST OR SUPPORT A TABLE AT THE FESTIVAL REPRESENTING A COUNTRY
    Would you or your family like to represent a country—perhaps one connected to your own origin or heritage—during the festival? Do you have items you’d like to share that represent countries from around the world? Our goal is to showcase as many countries as space allows during the festival! We are looking for families interested in helping with the creation of this showcase. The showcase is one of the highlights of our event!

    Share your favorite family recipe!  We are excited to announce an exciting project that celebrates the heart and soul of our community: a One World Community Cookbook! This special collection will showcase the diverse traditions, cultures, and flavors that make our community so unique. We would love for you to be part of it by sharing a cherished family recipe!

    SHARE A FAMILY GAME
    We’re asking families to donate brand-new family games for this exciting event. Whether it’s a board game, card game, outdoor game, puzzle, video game console, or any other type of family-friendly game, your donation can help bring joy to another family while supporting our community. All donated games will be part of our Game Pull during the One World Celebration. Families will purchase a ticket and have the chance to “pull” a game from the donated selection to take home.

All funds we raise through the auction go towards Orchard's Owl Fund (which supports students, teachers, programs, and operations, while addressing the area of greatest need).     We’re looking for unique items or memorable experiences to include in our auction. These donations are a key part of the celebration and directly support the Owl Fund. Ideas for donations:

    • Experiences (vacation home stays, event tickets, behind the scene tours, activity passes, etc)
    • Services (photography sessions, landscaping, personal wellness, etc)
    • Items (artwork, one of a kind treasures, gift baskets, etc)
